Clamato® Tuna and Bean Salad


This Clamato® salad is so tasty, your friends will ask you to spill the beans (and tuna) on how to prepare it.

Clamato Limón


1 can (12 oz.) StarKist® Chunk Light Tuna in Water, drained

½ cup black beans, rinsed and drained

½ cup corn

¼ cup diced orange pepper

¼ cup diced red pepper

12 romaine lettuce leaves

Zesty Clamato Dressing

3 tablespoons canola oil

2 tablespoons Clamato Limón

1 teaspoon tomato paste

1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

1 teaspoon lime zest

¼ teaspoon sugar

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

2 teaspoons diced green chilies (canned)


Combine tuna, beans, corn, and peppers in a medium bowl. Toss with half the dressing. Fill each leaf with tuna mixture, and drizzle with leftover dressing.

To make the dressing:

Place all components in a small-bowl food processor, and blend until thick and creamy.
