Everyone loves this wake-up call. "Vuelve a la Vida" with this recipe and say "gracias" to Clamato.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. cooked shrimp
- ¾ lb. cooked squid tentacles, cut into ¼ inch rings
- 1 lb. fresh oysters, shucked and juice reserved
- 1 lb. fresh clams, shucked and juice reserved
- 1-2 serrano chiles
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- ¾ cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup of your favorite Clamato®
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- Salt to taste
- Avocado chunks or slices and lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Place the shrimp, squid, oysters, clams, chiles, onion, cilantro, and tomatoes in a bowl.
- Whisk together remaining ingredients with the reserved oyster and clam juices.
- Pour over ingredients in the bowl.
- Spoon into tall cocktail glasses, garnish with chunks or slices of avocado. Add lime wedges.
